Irrelevant Film Thoughts

I will possibly shit bricks if the following films are not nominated (in any category):

• Warrior
• Anonymous (Costumes at the very least!)
• Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows pt.II (At least Best Original Score [Hi, Lily’s Theme can bring a whole generation to tears - so…that deserves some fucking recognition. Art Direction is always a HP nod favorite, as is Sound Editing and Editing, so please Academy, honor this great film franchise.)
• Drive
• J.Edgar (And by this film I mean STOP HATING ON LEO ACADEMY! AWARD THIS AMAZING ACTOR DAMN IT.)
• Midnight In Paris (Stop hating on Woody Allen, yes like Martin Scorsese you nominate the films but never actually let them win anything, stop that nonsense.)
• Bridesmaids (This films deserves a “Best Picture” nod, fucking hilarious. Best Original Screenplay as well.)
• My Week With Marilyn (Hi, did, like, anyone see how fucking brilliant Michelle Williams is?)

Obvious shoe-ins for nods (At least one or more nod in categories I can’t predict at the moment):

• The Artist (Brilliant film. Enough said.)
• Hugo
• The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo
• Moneyball
• The Tree of Life
• The Help
• War Horse
• Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy

And then we have our, “Random Nominations” category with at least one random nod:

And then there is the films I just wish would get nominated for anything but probably won’t:
